Details
The workshop covers essential principles of confocal fluorescence microscopy with emphasis on advanced techniques that may not be available on some confocal systems: Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) and the FRET-FLIM approach to study protein-protein interactions, STED superresolution microscopy and the use of 3D deconvolution to reduce noise and improve contrast.
These techniques will be demonstrated in the afternoon session on the Leica SP8 confocal/STED/FLIM system.
