Leica EM GP 2 Cryo Plunger

Pricing

For the vitrification of macromolecular complexes and nanocomplexes used in cryo-TEM imaging. This is an automatic plunge freezer used to freeze samples spread on an EM grid by plunging the grid into liquid ethane after automatic sensor controlled blotting. The sensor blotting gives equal distribution on the surface of the grid for perfect imaging results. There is digital control of the secondary cryogen temperature to within 1 degree. This instrument has a stereomicroscope with LED lighting for grid alignment if needed and an anti-fogging heater to eliminate condensation buildup for an unobstructed view of the sample.
